Office Opening

On Friday 20 July 20007 G-Forces Web Management Ltd celebrated the opening of their new purpose built offices in Bearsted (Kent) with a display from Kent’s very own Spitfire, ‘The Spirit of Kent’. The official ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by honorary guests including Jimmy Corbin, Maidstone’s last surviving Battle of Britain pilot together with Peter Ayerst and Rodney Scrase, World War II veteran Spitfire pilots.

With our strong Kentish roots and Polish allies (G-Forces Polska), we wanted to name our new offices after a non-celebrity who played such a vital role in our combined history. It only seemed appropriate to name the site after Jimmy Corbin, a Veteran Spitfire pilot who fought in the Battle of Britain who fought over the skies of Kent.

The ‘Spirit Of Kent’ is a fully restored Mk IX World War II Supermarine Spitfire and carried out a full aerobatic display piloted by Clive Denney. In addition, Chris Jesson started proceedings on the day with an acrobatic air display in a Stampe SV.48

To complete the theme Spitfire Ale supported the event by supplying an abundance of the counties finest ale!
