Job Description:

GForces are one of the fastest growing Web Management Company's in the Southeast and are looking to expand its PHP Development team at its high-tech offices in Bearsted (Kent) and near Maidstone.

The Role:

You will join our team of experienced web developers as a junior specialist in PHP and MySQL. You will be working in a fast-paced production environment where your main task will be the rapid development of content managed websites using our NetDirector range of software. Your work must be deployment quality and follow company programming standards.

Your Background:

You will need to be highly competent in PHP5, MySQL, Javascript and XHTML and your hand coded HTML skills must be exemplary. You will have developed across Windows, Mac browsing environments and you will have experience of web and accessibility standards (W3C). An understanding of Object Orientated Design will also be a distinct advantage.

You will be familiar with the separation of presentation logic & business logic practices using Object Orientated Programming methods. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritise work and use your own initiative will be central to your success in this role. You will have a keen attention to detail.

You must bring strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent self management skills, the ability to work well within a team and have a customer-focused approach.

A keen interest in JavaScript and PHP frameworks plus emerging technologies is desirable.
