Job Description:

GForces are one of the fastest growing Web Management Company’s in the UK and are looking to further develop its Client Services and Project Delivery team.

Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Web Project Manager is responsible for project managing the delivery of new client websites and re-designs, delivering the projects on time, within budget and to high levels of quality.

This is a prime opportunity for a forward thinking candidate who has demonstrable experience in delivering web projects to a formal project management methodology. Knowledge of the web management, quality assurance and ITIL and PRINCE2 will all be of distinct interest.

Key Requirements: 

• A strong Project Manager with experience of operating in a similar role
• Experience of working on large scale projects and delivery multiple projects in parallel
• Experience of MS Project & MS Office Suite
• Experience and understanding of PHP development
• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Commercial awareness
• Excellent organisational skills
• Initiative, ideas and ambition
• Strong communication skills and an approachable manner

Day to Day Role:

• Project Manager on between 10 to 20 projects of varying size and complexity at any one time
• Communicating project progress in line with GForces standards to all project stakeholders
• Chairing scheduled project meetings with clients
• Writing technical specifications based on clients requirements and business information
• Advising clients on specification changes in line with strategic goals
• Managing change and off specification requests
• Assisting the Head of Projects and Project Office Team in reporting and forecasting
• Managing project financial tracking

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Ideally with a marketing, business or technology degree
• Evidence of Project Methodology Qualifications and training
• You are flexible and thrive in a constantly changing environment. In particular you are able to get on with others and be a team-player
• A strong and proven communicator with ideas and enthusiasm
• Ability to think clearly and calmly when faced with issues or problems
• Ability to cope well with the demands of a rapidly growing company
• Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
• Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve our services
• Excellent work and customer ethos
• Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc
