Job Description:

GForces are one of the fastest growing Web Management Companies in the Southeast and are looking to expand their Web Marketing team at their high-tech offices in Bearsted near Maidstone (Kent).

As the Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing team in the effective promotion of its clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to move forward within the marketing profession.

The post holder will be involved in a number of web marketing activities and will provide assistance in identifying target audiences, creating marketing campaigns and researching new opportunities.

Initially, you will provide support for the Search Engine Optimisation team and help with research, linkbuilding, reporting and other day-to-day activities. As the team assistant, you may also be required to carry out some clerical duties to ensure the smooth running of the department, though this will only make up a small proportion of the job.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a genuine interest in Web Marketing and wants to forge a career in this field. To succeed in this role, you must be educated to A-level or equivalent and will have previous experience in an office based role. You must have strong written and verbal skills with excellent administrative and IT skills, along with the ability to plan and organise your own workload. A process driven approach and a high degree of accuracy are essential. As a team player, you will thrive in a busy work environment and will play a key role in enthusing and motivating others.

Key Requirements:

• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• High level of numeracy and literacy, in particular excellent spelling
• Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Passionate about the Web and Web Marketing


Day to Day Role:

• Initially, the post holder will support the SEO team. This will include:
    o Helping with key phrase analysis
    o Link building (mainly through tactical link purchases, but also through blogging, online PR and article submissions)
    o Researching new link building opportunities
    o Accurately reporting on expenditure relating to link building
    o Compiling data for web marketing reports
• Later on, the role may also include other web marketing activities, ranging from Search Engine Optimiation to Pay Per Click Advertising and Email Marketing, depending on the post holder's interests.
