Rounded Online Marketing Strategy
For a discipline that is barely fifteen years old, web marketing has asserted an enormous amount of influence on the way companies reach their markets.
The shift of budgets into this new form of marketing is nothing short of startling and the UK leads the way. Last year the UK became the first major economy where advertisers pumped more into advertising on the internet than on TV, with a record £1.75bn spent online in the first six months of 2009.
To us, web marketing covers not only the major cornerstones of online marketing techniques, Search Engine Optimisation, Pay Per Click and Email Marketing but also more recent mechanisms including Social Media and Behavioural Targeting.
Each separate discipline requires specific skill and expertise to maximize the return it is capable of generating, but a rounded online marketing strategy must integrate each of these disciplines with each other to deliver a return greater than the sum of its parts.
