Opportunity

Are you aged between 13 and 18, currently at school and looking for work experience?

As part of our Training Academy we offer work experience placements giving you the opportunity to spend either 1 - 2 weeks or 1 month outside the classroom, learning about a particular job or area of work that interests you. Forget about making teas, filing or labelling envelopes, we only offer work experiences with 'real work' in a 'real' commercially driven environment.

Positions available:
GForces offer work experience placements in the following disciplines:
  • Web Marketing (Run with the creative license to write blogs and articles on topics or demonstrate the ability to be inventive with tag lines. Master the art of search engine optimisation or pay-per click)

  • Web Development (Learn the rapid development of content managed websites using our NetDirector range of software, learn how programming using PHP, HTML and JavaScript and apply it to the functionality of a website)

  • Graphic design (Learn how to convey a specific message to a particular audience. Learn to use programs such as Photoshop, InDesign , Flash and Illustrator to produce creative designed for web pages)

  • CSS (Learn to separate document content, including elements such as layouts, colours and fonts to provide more flexibility and control in the presentation layer of a website.)

  • Project Management (Learn the discipline of planning, organising and managing resources to bring around the successful completion of market leading websites)

  • Account Support (Learn how to manage customer support, report on key metrics, handle issues and requests and liaise with clients)
